What will it take to really make a shift – a REAL one - in your weight and health? For some, it can seem so easy like a tree shedding leaves…for others it will take more deliberate effort. That was the case with my client Zohreh, who had struggled for a number of years without sustained success in losing weight. Zohreh also worked full-time and had a busy schedule that included long commutes.
Yet despite these challenges, Zohreh really wanted to lower her risk of future health problems and improve her weight, given a strong family history of diabetes and heart attacks. That’s when she came to me for help and support in reaching her weight and health goals.
In this episode, we’ll delve more into Zohreh’s weight loss journey, her views on eating plant-based as a lifestyle after 9 months, her increased confidence when eating out and the role support played in her plant-based diet transition experience. Listen in and be encouraged and inspired!
And here’s a little additional update on what has happened after this interview. Later on (a year after she went plant-based), her husband actually agreed to try eating fully plant-based with her and ended up losing much weight as a result. And since the time of this interview publishing, Zohreh has now consistently sustained a plant-powered diet lifestyle for more than 3 years already. I hope Zohreh’s continued perseverance and commitment with plant-based eating inspires you too!
