Are you tired of yo-yo dieting and want a change…a permanent one? My client Zohreh did. Over the years, Zohreh had struggled with her weight, despite trying a number of different ways to lose pounds, but the results never seemed to last. She also wanted to optimize her health given a strong family history of diabetes and heart attacks.
Then she decided to try a full plant-based diet. Coming from many years of eating a pescatarian diet, Zohreh thought making this transition would (and should) be easy. But she ended up feeling lost and unsure of how to best eat on a plant-based diet, to reach her desired goals of losing weight and reducing her risk of diabetes and heart disease. A month after trying to eat plant-based on her own, Zohreh got frustrated as she wasn’t seeing much change to her weight. That’s when we started working together.
Through coaching support and a sustained lifestyle change, Zohreh began to enjoy an active plant-powered lifestyle. Then the benefits started showing in her body and blood work. Staying plant-powered also became doable and enjoyable, as Zohreh continued to juggle a full-time job and long commutes.
